KPMG Law Firm has provided legal support to AS "Augstsprieguma tīkls" for acquisition of shares of the company "Conexus Baltic Grid"

KPMG Law Firm in Latvia provided legal support to AS "Augstsprieguma tīkls" for acquisition of shares of the "Conexus Baltic Grid" as a result of the government’s decision to exercise the pre-emptive rights. The state-owned company "Augstsprieguma tīkls" acquired 34 percent of shares in AS "Conexus Baltic Grid", gas transmission and storage system operator in Latvia, from Russian company "Gazprom". The transaction was closed on 21 July 2020.
